So the metro was interesting. fun adventure. but we definitely went the wrong way...twice. :) finally we got to union station where Michelle (my sister, who just moved right near church) picked us up and drove us the rest of the way.
Church was fabulous, as always. And after church, i realized that i knew the
person who was sitting in front of me....i'd just never actually met her. Her name is Kara, and she's this really sweet girl on this reality show called If I Can Dream (it's only on hulu.com). The show is these 5 young people who are pursuing careers in entertainment & the show helps get them gigs and get their career started. provides opportunities and such. anyway, i introduced myself after church & she was warm and friendly just as i thought she would be. As i continued on walking out of church with Alyssa, she approached me again & gave me her email address & said that they don't get to get out and meet "real people" very often and
that if i wanted i could email her whenever and we could meet up and hang out/grab coffee or something. umm....chyeah! yeah i want to know you! you're awesome! i KNEW you were a believer! I'll admit, i was a bit starstruck at first because i've been watching the show for a while now, but once we started talking i really just felt like i was talking to a new friend in one of my classes here at Biola. fun stuff for sure. i love LA. :)
So, after all that, Michelle, Maygan, Alyssa, Zach & I went out for lunch and we found this quaint little Italian Panini/Pizza/Coffee/Bakery place & it was affordable and DELICIOUS.
THEN, we (-Zach) went to the Dodgers game! it started off so bad, but the ended u
p totally rallying! we doubted them and left the game in the 8th inning, down one point 6-5. Guess what they did AFTER we left? Tied the game, & won in the extra innings! Go Dodgers! nice comeback. So, we did the reverse metro deal...got on all the right trains this time. lol
Had dinner with Andrea & the roomies, and now relaxing/blogging/guitar practicing/reading!
Goodnight!
OH, p.s. i have the greatest roomies & next door neighbors ever...they bring me b
en & jerry's.
